Treatment & Approach

About Integrative Health Treatment

I support patients with chronic and stress-related conditions such as persistent fatigue, hormonal imbalance, digestive complaints, sleep disturbances, headaches, and immune dysregulation. My focus is on identifying and addressing root causes to restore physiological balance. Many of these conditions overlap, which is why the initial intake consultation always starts with a broad, root-cause assessment rather than treating a single symptom in isolation.

I integrate conventional medical knowledge with functional and lifestyle medicine. Rather than suppressing symptoms, I assess underlying drivers such as metabolic health, gut function, hormonal regulation, and stress physiology. This combination allows me to look at a health concern from several angles at once, rather than relying on a single diagnostic method.

Yes. My work is evidence-informed and guided by current scientific insights, clinical expertise, and individualized assessment. I am registered with NVVM, VBAG, and RBCZ, the recognized Dutch bodies for complementary care practitioners.

Your initial consultation is an in-depth medical assessment (90 minutes for Intake and 60 minutes for Follow-up consult). I review your medical history, lifestyle factors, nutrition, stress profile, and previous diagnostics. Based on this analysis, we design a personalized treatment strategy. This same approach — EPD, pulse, and tongue assessment — is used at both the intake and follow-up stages, so your treatment plan stays grounded in objective, repeatable measurements.

Follow-up consultations typically last 60 minutes. For new patients, the Intake consult takes around 90 minutes. The overall duration of care depends on the complexity of your condition and your health objectives.

Some patients experience early improvements within weeks. Chronic or long-standing complaints generally require a structured process over several months to achieve sustainable change. Because every plan is personalized, timelines vary: some patients choose to continue with periodic follow-up consultations well beyond the first few months to maintain their results.

Yes. The treatment is designed to complement conventional healthcare. Collaboration with your GP or medical specialist is encouraged.

All interventions are carefully selected based on your medical history and current health status. Safety and professional standards are central to my practice.
