By using this website and/or our services, you agree to this privacy statement. Before your first appointment, written consent to this statement is required.

    As required under the Dutch Medical Treatment Agreement Act (WGBO/Wkkgz), a client file is maintained for every patient. This file includes notes on your health status, examinations, proposed treatments, and—where you’ve given explicit consent—relevant information from other healthcare providers (e.g. GP, osteopath, dietitian).

    We safeguard your privacy by:

    • – Handling personal and medical data with care
    • – Restricting access to authorized persons only
    • – Upholding medical professional secrecy (legal duty of confidentiality)
    • – Following WGBO and Dutch data protection guidelines

    Your file data may be used to:

    • – Inform other healthcare providers upon completion of therapy or referral (with your explicit consent)
    • – Share details with pharmacies or supplement suppliers when ordering recommended supplements on your behalf
    • – Enable a substitute therapist to provide care during absences

    • – Prepare invoices for financial administration
    • Any other use of your data will require prior notice and your explicit consent.

    5. Your Rights (Access, Correction & Deletion)

    6. Data Retention

    Client files are retained for 20 years, as legally required under the WGBO.

    7. Information on Your Healthcare Invoice

    Invoices include details required for insurance reimbursement:

    • – Name, address, and place of residence
    • – Client number and/or date of birth
    • – Insurance and/or policy number
    • – Treatment date and claim number
    • – Brief treatment description and performance code
    • – Consultation cost

    8. Third-Party Data Processors

    We work with MijnDiAd (practice management software), with whom a data processing agreement is in place.
