    Terms & Conditions

The general terms applicable to all consultations and treatments at Integrative Health Clinic Amsterdam.

    Last updated: May 2026

    1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all consultations, treatments, and services provided by Integrative Health Clinic, operated by Adriana Guarin, certified therapist, located at Kiekstraat 71D, 1087GK Amsterdam (KvK 98618644). By booking a consultation you agree to these terms.

    2. The treatment agreement

From the moment your first consultation starts, a treatment agreement is established between you and the practice in accordance with the Dutch Medical Treatment Agreement Act (WGBO). You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about your health, medication, and lifestyle so that I can advise you to the best of my ability.

    3. Appointments and cancellation

Appointments can be booked online via the booking system, by email, or by phone. If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, or missed appointments, will be charged in full.

    4. Fees and payment

    The standard fees are:

    • Intake consultation (≈ 90 minutes): € 170
    • Follow-up consultation (≈ 60 minutes): € 150

Invoices are issued after the consultation and are payable within 14 days. If payment is not received in time, reminder fees and statutory interest may apply.

    5. Health insurance reimbursement

Integrative health consultations may be partially reimbursed under supplementary Dutch health insurance, depending on your insurer and policy. You are responsible for verifying your coverage in advance. The invoice you receive contains all the information required by most insurers.

    6. Your responsibilities

Integrative health treatment is complementary and does not replace conventional medical care. You are expected to:

    • Continue any treatments prescribed by your GP or specialist unless agreed otherwise with them.
    • Share relevant medical information, lab results, and current medications.
    • Inform me of any changes in your health status during the course of treatment.

    7. Liability

I provide my services to the best of my professional ability and in accordance with the standards of my professional associations (NVVM, VBAG, RBCZ). My liability is limited to direct damage and to the amount paid out by my professional liability insurance in the relevant case. I am not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

    8. Confidentiality

I am bound by a professional duty of confidentiality. All information you share is treated as strictly confidential and is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

    9. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please refer to the Complaints Procedure for the steps to follow.

    10. Applicable law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
